This resource is a fun way to learn how to write a story.
 
Writing a story is broken into 7 steps:
1.Choose Topic.
2.Choose Characters.
3.Choose Setting.
4.Choose Plot.
5.Write the Beginning.
6.Write the Middle.
7.Write the Ending.
 
A worksheet is provided for students to work through the steps and write a story.
 
Extra fences are provided that give examples of each step and also ideas for what students could use in their story.
 
Also included are fences for 2 after writing checks – 1. does it make sense and 2. check for correct punctuation. These can be added to your fence to remind students to do those 2 checks.
 
All example fences are provided on one page that can be glued into their book for reference.
