StockUp - A Stock Market project for the Maths classroom
In this challenge students are given $1000 to invest in the stock exchange. They combine with other students to create an investment group. Individually and as a group they will then track this investment over the term or year.
 
I do this every year with my Math class and it is often a highlight of the year for students. They learn lots about investments and money markets along the way.
Great for understanding decimal numbers and percentages at both upper primary and high school.
