Letter for Next Year
 
This resource has been created for students to write a letter to the students who will be coming into the classroom the following year.
 
Encourage the students to think of this activity as a random act of kindness. The aim of the letter is to be helpful, encouraging and to give any advice, guidance or helpful information.
 
You could begin this activity with a class brainstorming discussion about all the things unique to their class. Then everyone will have plenty of good ideas to help them write their letter.
 
When they have written the letter, the students cut along the dotted line so the instructions are not included.
 
The letters can be left in the classroom to be handed out the following year to the new students.
